The family cottage is significantly larger and boasts 2 adult bedrooms (4 beds) and a children’s room (for 2) all with separate entry, a large living room area including home entertainment system and a private dining area as well as private courtyard and 3 bathrooms.

Food and Drink at The Manor at Ngorongoro
The Manor offers a number of dining rooms including more intimate alternatives to conservatory dining or the main dining room. It also benefits from a comfortable bar and an exciting wine cellar. The Manor can also provide picnics on the Ngorongoro Crater floor.
Food is fresh, plentiful, varied and well prepared. While perhaps not of the standard on offer at many luxury Western hotels it is good for the region.
Service at The Manor at Ngorongoro
The Manor offers a five star professional service. Staff are on hand to welcome guests with towels and drinks and will aim to satisfy their every request. The hotel can provide internet access, telephone service, baby-sitting and laundry services on request.
Staff and management are friendly and diligent and The Manor is exceptionally well cleaned and maintained. The Ngorongoro experience is that of owning your own country house in Africa, and the staff go out of their way to ensure you feel at home and are well looked after.
Things to do at The Manor at Ngorongoro
The Manor offers many activities and entertainments including snooker room, tennis courts, home entertainment centre, horseback riding, cycle hire and organised tours, boutique shop and art gallery and massage and sauna centre. Guests can also take coffee tasting tours.
It is a fair drive from the lodge to the entrance to Ngorongoro National Park. During the rainy season this can feel somewhat perilous (though in a good safari vehicle it should not prove problematic). The Manor is excellently situated for a relaxing start or finish to a full-on safari.
