Moreover, guests are advised that even those who have booked bungalows will occasionally arrive to discover they have been allocated tented accommodation instead.
While rooms in tents and bungalows are an acceptable size the camp is not as spaced out as some, and the layout can make the accommodation feel somewhat cramped.

Food and Drink at Tarangire Safari Lodge
Food is generally of reasonable quality, well prepared and fresh. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style and what is on offer, though bland in order to cater for package holiday tastes, is passable and quite filling. Dinners are not especially exciting and as the lodge commonly offers set menus, choice is limited. It is advisable to warn the lodge in advance of any dietary requirements.
The lodge’s restaurant is pleasant. Its open nature makes it feel very close to the wilderness. The lodge also has a small but comfortable lounge bar. This offers a variety of cocktails and local beers as well as a limited selection of wines.[/tab] [tab]

Staff are friendly and keen to help you get the most out of your time in Tarangire National Park. While service can seem less professional than that to which Westerners are accustomed, this has the benefit that it is also more relaxed lending the lodge convivial air.
The lodge offers a nice pool (a welcome but uncommon bonus on safari) as well as a gift shop for those wishing to buy souvenirs.[/tab] [/tabcontent] [/tabs]
